"One thing I've noticed throughout the years is that the students are really grateful for everything they have. My one piece of advice is to be grateful and appreciate everything you have. No matter how bad your day is, or however bad that exam was, just remember at the end of the day that there are other people out there who don't have the same opportunities. You have to love what you have and be grateful for everything you've been blessed with. I wasn't always like that but as I've grown I've developed much more of an appreciation for everything my parents and grandparents did for me"

"My grandparents were very influential for me while growing up. My mom was a single mother who balanced jobs and school, so they took me in as one of their own. They didn't have to but the fact that they did, and the fact that they chose to be a major part of my life helped me form a huge part of who I am. They are everything to me."

Stephanie brings an incredibly positive energy to the Village and loves meeting new people, so definitely say hi next time you see her there! Thank you for all that you do Stephanie.
